Air Arabia to operate daily TVM-Sharjah flight from Nov 5

Thiruvananthapuram, Nov 3 (UNI) Air Arabia, the low-cost airline from the Middle East, will commence its Sharjah-Thiruvananthapuram daily flight from November 5.

Announcing this, Regional Manager (India, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan) Rohit Ramachandran said Thiruvananthapuram would be the sixth destination of the airliner in India. 'We are looking forward to operate from more non-metro airports in the country'.

Besides India, Air Arabia operates its brand new Airbus A320s to destinations in Afghanistan, Bahrain, Egypt, Iran, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Syria, Turkey and Yemen. It would commence the Sharjah-Kathmandu flight on November 7.

He said the fares for the Thiruvananthapuram-Sharjah route would start at Rs 3,800 exclusive of taxes and surcharges. 'One can travel to and fro for a little more than Rs 10,000 including taxes,' he said and added that tickets could be booked through their website http://www.airarabia.com or through appointed travel agents.

He said Air Arabia would also offer visa assistance with a one-day halt for Sharjah and beyond. 'We will arrange electronic visa for our trusted travellers within 48 hours'. The airline would also offer a holiday package for tourists coming to Kerala.
