World Ayurveda Conference to be held in Pune from Nov 5 to Nov 12
New Delhi, Nov 2 (UNI) Health Minister Anbumani Ramadoss will inaugurate Second World Ayurveda Congress and Arogya 2006 Exhibition on November 5 at Pune University.
This is for the first time that more than 3000 delegates, policy makers, industrial experts, academic leaders and researchers are coming together on a common platform to discuss the challenges and opportunities for the traditional science.
Vice Chancellor Dr Narendra Jadhav, MP Suresh Kalmadi, Suresh Prabhu and other dignitaries will be present during the inaugural session of the eight-day long conference, which is being jointly organised by the Pune, AYUSH and Vijnan Bharati.
Public lectures on importance of Ayurveda will be organised every day during the conference. Home Pavilion of the Exhibition will highlight development of Ayurveda from Stone Age to date. There will be more than 150 stalls by leading Ayurveda manufacturers and Ayurveda Colleges.
The experts will attend to common problem such as pimples, hair loss, diabetes, Asthma, Heart Disease and Hyper Tension. Around one lakh people will get a chance for a check up during the period.
