Witnesses depose in Monica Bedi case

Bhopal, Nov 2: A local court today recorded the statements of two witnesses in a fake passports case in which underworld don Abu Salem's girlfriend and starlet Monica Bedi is one of the accused.

At about 1230 hrs, Monica was brought in the court of Judicial Magistrate Dinesh Kumar Dangi who heard the deposition of Head Constable Hariprasad and Constable Surendra Singh.

Of the total 32 witnesses, four deposed earlier. The hearing will continue tomorrow.

Hearing on Monica's revision petition was completed yesterday and Additional District and Sessions Judge Anurag Shrivastav reserved his ruling until November 6.
