TDP Leader holds Cong Govt responsible for Corpn woes
Rajahmundry, Nov 2 (UNI) Former Minister and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Leader Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdary today alleged the work at the municipal corporation had come to a standstill.
Addressing the press here, Mr Chowdary blamed the government for not filling vacant posts which were responsible for the work grinding to a halt.
He claimed the corporation failed to collect tax arrears from citizens and that corruption was rampant.
Mr Chowdary said BC, SC, OC wards were not being properly enumerated during the survey leaving thousands of people in lurch.
