PNB revises interest rates on non-resident deposits

New Delhi, Nov 2 (UNI) Punjab National Bank (PNB) has revised the rates of interest on Foreign Currency Non-Resident (FCNR) deposits for USD, GBP, EURO, AUD and CAD deposits with effect from November one, 2006.

The rate of interest on USD deposits has been revised to 5.34 per cent for maturity of one year to less than two years, 5.17 per cent for two years to less than three years, 5.11 per cent for three years to less than four years, 5.11 per cent for four years to less than five years and 5.12 per cent for five years only.

The rate of interest on GBP deposits has been revised to 5.44 per cent for 1st maturity, 5.37 per cent to 2nd maturity, 5.33 per cent for 3rd maturity, 5.28 per cent for 4th maturity and 5.22 per cent for 5th maturity.

The rate of interest on EURO deposits has been revised to 3.86 per cent for 1st maturity, 3.94 per cent for 2nd maturity, 3.94 per cent for 3rd maturity, 3.93 per cent for 4th maturity and 3.93 per cent for 5th maturity.

The rate of interest on CAD (Canadian Dollars) deposits has been revised to 4.27 per cent for 1st maturity, 4.24 per cent for 2nd maturity, 4.24 per cent for 3rd maturity, 4.27 per cent for 4th maturity and 4.30 per cent for 5th maturity.

The rate of interest on AUD (Australian Dollars) deposits has been revised to 6.57 per cent for 1st maturity, 6.47 per cent for 2nd maturity, 6.43 per cent for 3rd maturity and 6.45 per cent for 4th maturity and 6.41 per cent for 5th maturity.
