Letter bomb accused moves Kerala HC for bail
Kochi, Nov 2 (UNI) Accused in the Thiruvananthapuram letter bomb case Rajeev today moved the Kerala High Court for bail.
The sessions court in Thiruvananthapuram had earlier rejected Rajeev's bail application.
Rajeev was arrested in Thiruvananthapuram on October ten, on the eve of a visit by President A P J Abdul Kalam, for sending letter bombs to various addresses in Thiruvananthapuram.
Opposing the bail plea, Director General of Prosecution P G Thambi said investigation in the matter was still going on.
Police have to verify whether the accused had any connection with any terrorist group in or outside Kerala.
