Father and son die in a road accident

Sambalpur, Nov 2 (UNI) In a shocking road accident young engineer K Guru Murty (35) of SPS power and steel at Badmal and his five year old son died on the state highway number 10 here.

Police said yesterday Murty's wife Sailaja critically injured in the accident has been shifted to Ispat General Hospital at Rourkela.

The mishap took place when the motorcycle the engineer was riding had a head on collision with a speeding truck. Both Mr Murty and his son died on the spot.
