Belgium PM to pay two-day visit from Nov 4
Chennai, Nov 2: Belgium Prime Minister Guy Verhofstadt would pay a two-day visit to Tamil Nadu from November 4.
Mr Verhofstadt, who arrives here by a special aircraft at 1800 hrs on November 4, would meet the state Governor S S Barnala and take part in a banquet hosted by the Governor at Raj Bhavan at 1930 hrs, according to his tentative schedule.
On November 5, the visiting dignitary would have a breakfast meeting with select Belgian businessmen at 0800 hrs and leave for Dhakshina Chitra, a model village on the East Coast Road.
After visiting the shore temple in Mamallapuram, about 45 km from here, he would leave for Bangalore by a special aircraft at 1530 hrs.
