Bangladesh citizen remanded to judicial custody for overstay

Madikeri (Karnataka), Nov 2 (UNI) A Bangladesh Citizen has been arrested by Virajpet police for over-staying in the country.

Police said that Mohamed Hasim Tulakdar, a native of Cholkali village in Chottagray district of Bangladesh, arrived in the city on Tourist Visa valid from May 16 to June 16. However, he did not return.

Tulakdar was here to attend the funeral of his Indian wife.

However, he neither extended his Visa nor returned to Bangladesh since then.

Tulakdar was produced before a Magistrate yesterday who remanded him to judicial custody.
