ATAI to organise road show in Chennai from Nov 6
Visakhapatnam, Nov 2 (UNI) Air Travellers Association of India (ATAI) President D Varada Reddy said the north coastal districts of Andhra Pradesh were developing fast in education, tourism and IT sectors, apart from development in Special Economic Zone (SEZ).
Talking to newspersons here yesterday, he said to promote tourism in north coastal districts of the state, a roadshow was being organised by ATAI in Chennai on November six and seven. It would be inaugurated by former Chief Minister and MP, N Janardhan Reddy, he added.
Mr Reddy said the rich natural resources, heritage and history of coastal districts were yet to be explored. The road show would focus on investment in various fields and also attract tourists, he added.
He said a seminar on Air Connect would be conducted on November seven to attract several airlines to schedule their operations from Visakhapatnam to various destinations. All domestic and international airlines would make presentation of their services on the occasion, he added.
He said the Tourism Minister J Gita Reddy among others are expected to attend the function.
