Abu Dhabi's NPCC bags $390 mln order from ONGC
Dubai, Nov 2 (UNI) Abu Dhabi-based National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC) has won a 390 million dollar contract from Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC).
The work will commence shortly and the project is expected to be completed by April 2007, said an NPCC statement.
The scope of the project extends to survey, design and detailed engineering, procurement, fabrication, transportation, installation, hook-up, pre-commissioning and commissioning of four wellhead platforms, anti-corrosion, weight coating and laying of 185 km of submarine pipelines and modification of an existing process platform NQG at the Mumbai High offshore field.
This takes the total value of NPCC's contracts with ONGC to over 590 million dollars (Dh2.2 billion). In 2005, ONGC awarded their four wellhead platforms project-2 to NPCC for a contract value of 200 million dollars.
