TCS' new lab for the hospitality industry
Chennai, Nov 01 (UNI) Tata Consultancy Services today announced the launch of the TCS Innovation Lab for the travel and hospitality industry, providing a unique experience centre for airlines, hotels, resorts and travel companies where new solutions can be developed, incubated and piloted using new technology cost-effectively.
The Lab would give TCS customers 'on-demand' access to innovation and creativity with a team of domain experts, business process analysts, technology specialists and an R and D team. It would build a wide range of 'reusable assets and components' to help airlines retain differentiators as well as achieve high productivity.
Inaugurating the Lab, British Airways (BA) Chief Information Officer Paul Coby British Airways said BA had a long-standing, strategic partnership with TCS. They were always on the look out for new ideas about how to improve customer service, inspire employees and continue to reduce costs.
TCS Executive Vice-President and Global Head Sales and Operations N Chandrasekaran said the Lab's focus would go beyond technology innovation and develop solutions for higher productivity.
Hr claimed that with over 35 clients in this industry, TCS continued to make significant investments by establishing the Lab.
