Star charity cricket match on November 15

Chandigarh, Nov 1 (UNI) A charity twenty-20 cricket match between Film Stars XI and Cricketers XI will be played at the PCA Stadium in Mohali on November 15 in aid of mentally ill persons.

It is being organized by Athma Shakti Vidyalaya (ASV) and will be played under lights.

Among the prominent cricketers who are expected to participate are Kapil Dev, Navjot Sidhu, Chetan Sharma, Ashok Malhotra, Ajay Jadeja, Madan Lal, Yashpal Sharma, Yograj Singh and Ritender Singh Sodhi.

The film stars who have confirmed their appearance are Anupam Kher, Sonu Sood, Rahul Bose, Gul Panag and Neha Dhupia.

Punjab Governor General SF Rodrigues (retd) will be the chief guest and renowned film maker Yash Chopra will be the guest of honour.

An organising committee under the chairmanship of Punjab Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order) has been formed.

The match will be telecast live and entry will be by invitations only.
