Reliance Communications launches gas booking via mobiles

Mumbai, Nov 1 (UNI) Reliance Communications has introduced another mass market utility service, gas booking via mobile phones, that provides an easy-to-use ''anytime, anywhere'' B2C mobile application for the masses.

The service, launched today from Mumbai for Hindustan Petroleum customers, will be extended to Indian Oil Corporation and Bharat Petroleum customers in the next 30 days.

Now, HP gas customers using Reliance Mobile World and SMS can make use of options like gas bookings, queries on on-mobile phones, real-time complaint registrations and many more. Currently, there are approximately 2.25 crore HP gas customers nationwide.

One has to just click on Reliance Mobile World>MoreServices>TravelNShop for a one-time registration with his distributor code and consumer code. Once that is done, the customer is also given a booking number, date and time.

The other features in this application include leakage, non-delivery and mechanical complaints which can be accessed at the click of a button.
