Polish and Bulgarian troupe visit Punjab Police Academy

Phagwara, Nov 1 (UNI) A European cultural group comprising of 50-odd artistes visited Punjab Police Academy, Phillaur today as part of a cultural exchange.

The group of artistes from Ensemble D'etet De Chants Et Dance Populaires Strandza Bourgas', Bulgaria and 'Kyczera Fouc Dance&Song Group', Poland took a round of the Academy campus and appreciated the PPA authorities for maintaining the historical fort of Maharaja Ranjit Singh on the banks of the Sutlej river.

They also appreciated the historical artefacts kept in Punjab Police Academy museum which has been recently expanded and enlarged by the present Director of the Academy.

The visiting group also performed a colourful dance programme depicting their folk and culture.

They interacted with Mr Gill and other officers of the Academy and exchanged views on spreading the message of universal love and brotherhood through such cultural exchange visits and shows.
