Mulayam exhorts judiciary to play vital role for democracy

Lucknow, Nov 1 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh chief minister Mulayam Singh Yadav today said judiciary will have to play a prominant role to strengthen democracy.

Addressing a function here, the Samajwadi Party supremo said it is the responsibility of the judiciary to protect democracy.

''Hence, it is more answerable to people,''he asseted.

Referring to people's faith in judicary, the former defence minister maintained that the common man had immense faith in it.
