Maoists put posters demanding release of their comrades
Begusarai, Nov 1 (UNI) Defying tight security arrangements by the Bihar government in view of the Maoist-sponsored ''Kranti Diwas'' on November 7, the extremists have put up posters in several offices here.
Police today said the banned maoists had put up the posters on the office walls of the Deputy Police Superintendent (DSP), Subdivisional Officer (SDO) and Balia police station in the district.
The Maoists demanded release of their colleagues arrested during their Bihar-Jharkhand, Orissa and Chhatisgarh bandh call on October 30.
The maoists had also threatened to intensify their movement against alleged torture on their ''central committee member'' Sheela Didi by police.
