KLTL comes out of red, registers profit

Chennai, Nov 1 (UNI) Krishna Lifestyle Technologies Limited (KLTL), a Navin Kumar Tayal Enterprise, has made a significant turn around and posted a net profit of Rs 1.47 crore for the second quarter ended September 30 against a loss of Rs 4.36 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

A company release said, it had reported an increase of 171.87 per cent in its net sales at Rs 110.75 crore during this quarter as against the net sales of Rs 40.74 crore.

The company registered an impressive growth in its net profit in the first six months of this fiscal at Rs 2.62 crore against a loss of Rs 5.41 crore in the corresponding period last year.

About the turnaround of the company, KLTL Chairman Navin Kumar Tayal said, "after some years in red, the company is once again on a sound financial footing. With the world textile market wide open, the company's future looks excellent".
