Govt urges Centre to launch more international flights
Hyderabad, Nov 1 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Information and Public Relations Minister Mohd Ali Shabbir today said the state government had urged the Civil Aviation Ministry to launch more air services between Hyderabad-Bangkok, keeping in view of increasing tourists from South East Asian countries visiting Buddha temples in the state.
According to a press release here, Mr Shabbir, who was also the Chairman of the study group of AP NRIs, said the Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy had written a letter to Civil Aviation Minister Praful Patel urging him to launch low cost Air India services between the capital city and gulf countries as ten lakh people of the state were working in the gulf countries.
