Ashok Jha takes charge as Finance Secretary

New Delhi, Nov 1 (UNI) Mr Ashok Jha today took charge as Finance Secretary and Mr M Ramachandran as Secretary in the Ministry of Urban Development.

Earlier, Mr Jha was Secretary in the Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance.

Before moving to the Centre, Mr Ramachandran worked as Chief Secretary, Uttranchal State.

Both belong to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) cadre.
