27 IAS officers reshuffled by Koda govt

Ranchi, Nov 1 (UNI) In a major administrative shake-up, the Jharkhand government has transferred 27 IAS officers, the first such big reshuffle since the inception of the state six years ago.

Mr A K Chug is the new development commissioner who got promoted after the Madhu Koda government took the decision on the reshuffle late last night taking all the allies into confidence.

Mr Chug, who was the principal secretary in the planning and development department, has been given the extra charge of state finance commission.

Mr U K Sangma, principal secretary to former chief minister Arjun Munda, was posted at the social welfare department.

Among others forest and environment secretary N N Pandey was made the new health secretary in place of Mr Shivendu who had been transferred to labour, employment, and training department in the same capacity.

Mr K K Khandelwal was made the industry secretary.
