Weekly superfast train between Chennai-Nagercoil

Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 31 (UNI) A new weekly superfast train service will be introduced between Chennai-Egmore and Nagercoil.

A Southern Railway release said Train No 2667 Chennai Egmore-Nagercoil and Nagercoil-Chennai Egmore Super Fast Express (weekly) will commence on November three from Nagercoil and on November nine from Chennai Egmore.

The Chennai Egmore-Nagercoil special will depart at 1900 hrs from Chennai Egmore on every Thursdays and arrive Nagercoil at 0810 hrs on Fridays. The Nagercoil-Chennai Egmore special will depart from Nagercoil on every Fridays at 1940 hrs and arrive Chennai Egmore at 0850 hrs, the next day.

Both the trains have stoppages at Chengalpattu, Villupuram, Tiruchirappalli, Dindigul, Madurai, Virudunagar, Sattur and Tirunelveli.

Thiruvananthapuram-Gorakhpur Raptisagar Express scheduled to leave here at 0520 hrs tomorrow is rescheduled to leave at 1200 hrs on the same day due to late running of pairing train.
