VSNL Q2 net up 17.58 pc to Rs 107 crore

Mumbai, Oct 31 (UNI) Videsh Sanchar Nigam Ltd (VSNL) has posted a net profit of Rs 107 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2006, as compared to Rs 91 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2005, a rise of 17.58 per cent.

Announcing the results, the company said its total income has increased from Rs 961 crore for the quarter ended September 30 last year to Rs 1,005 crore for the quarter ended September 30.
