VSNL Q2 FY07 net zooms 17.6 per cent

New Delhi, Oct 31 (UNI) Videsh Sanchar Nigam Ltd (VSNL) today posted a 17.6 per cent increase in net profit for the quarter ended September 30, 2006, at Rs 107 crore as compared to Rs 91 crore for the corresponding period last year.

The company's total income increased 4.57 per cent to Rs 1,005 crore for the quarter from Rs 961 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2005.
