TRS MLA opposes TRS Chief's Telangana bandh call

Hyderabad, Oct 31 (UNI) Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) MLA S Bapu Rao today opposed the bandh call given by TRS Chief and former Union Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao.

In a letter to the TRS Chief, a copy of which was released to the press here, Mr Rao alleged the TRS Chief was poiliticising the state formation day celebrations to gain political mileage in the ensuing Karimnagar Lok Sabha by-election.

Urging the TRS Chief to withdraw from contesting the by-election, he said the TRS Chief should support BJP, which was supporting the statehood for Telangana.

Mr Rao said he would not participate in the bandh and would attend the celebrations organised by the state government.
