3 killed as train ramps a rickshaw

Bangalore, Oct 31: Three persons were killed on the spot and one injured when Yeshwanthpur-Dadar Chalukya Express Train rammed against an Autorickshaw in which the victims were travelling at an unmanned level crossing near Tiptur, near here today.

Police said that the incident occurred at 0945 hrs when the autorickshaw driver, without waiting for the train to pass, attempt to cross the track, leading to the mishap.

The injured was admitted to hospital, police added.
