Seven killed in accident

Jalgaon, Oct 31 (UNI) Seven persons, including two girls were killed and seven others seriously injured when a truck collided with a Multi-Utility Vehicle (MUV) near here, the police said.

The persons travelling in the MUV were members of four familes, all from Varangaon in the district.

The accident occured at Karanji-Phata on National Highway number six yesterday, while the victims were returning from a pilgrimage centre.

The injured were admitted to the district civil hosptal, where the condition of two was stated to be critical, police added.
