Security forces foil ultras' attempt and recover can bombs

Ranchi, Oct 31 (UNI) Security forces last night foiled a militant attempt by recovering two can bombs weighing 20 kg each from a building, which was, however, completely damaged by an explosion, under Peertand police from Jharkhand's Giridih district.

Official sources here today said two can bombs were recovered from the building, where personnel from BSF, CRPF and district police were to stay for the byelection to Koderma Parliamentary seat.

Though the building was damaged in the explosion, no casualty was reported.
