Rajasthan seized 11 vehicles from MP till Sept
Bhopal, Oct 31 (UNI) The Rajasthan Government had seized eleven vehicles of the Madhya Pradesh Road Transport Corporation (MPRTC) till September this year because the latter owed Rs 8.97 lakh tax to the former.
In a written reply to Mr Girija Shankar Sharma, Transport Minister Himmat Kothari said in the assembly the state government in turn had seized 19 vehicles of the Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation in the absence of proper documents.
After discussion between both the governments, vehicles were released.
Meanwhile, Rajasthan SRTC owed Rs 4.11 lakh to the Madhya Pradesh government.
