Pranay Motta impresses in CCI Western India squash tourney

Mumbai, Oct 31 (UNI) City-lad Pranay Motta kicked off his campaign with an impressive 3-0 win in the boys under-13 second qualifying round in the 63rd CCI Indiabulls Western India Squash Championship at the Cricket Club of India here today.

The formidable Motta of Matunga Gymkhana overcame a determined challenge from Mishaal Nathani before prevailing 9-6, 9-2, 9-6 in one of the closest contests of the day.

In another exciting tie in the same category, J Pendse ignored the loss of the second game to beat Mahendra Mishra 9-7, 3-9, 9-4, 9-1.
