Police on lookout for two medical students kidnapped from Mandya
Madikeri, Karnataka, October 31 (UNI) Mandya and Kodagu police have launched joint operation to nab Kidnappers who have allegedly kidnapped two medical students from Mandya Medical College on October 26.
Police said that Ugum Chopra and Bupinder Kadia, along with their motor bikes were missing since Thursday last and they were allegedly kidnapped and brought to Madikeri. The kidnappers have allegedly demanded huge ransom from the parents through mobile phones, sitting at Madikeri.
Kodagu police were alerted about the incident yesterday by Mandya police. The kidnappers allegedly fled Madikeri yesterday and went towards Hassan. Search were being held at Kodagu, Mandya and Hassan to nab the kidnappers.
Suspicion was also arising as to how the students could be kidnapped in motorbikes. Or could it be a plan hatched by the students themselves to swindle money from their own parents.
