NPCC blames DAN Govt for corruptions

Kohima, Oct 31 (UNI) The Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) has expressed disappointment over the alleged rampant corruption by the ruling Democratic Alliance of Nagaland (DAN) Government as many scandals in various department including Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC) unearthed recently.

Addressing a news conference here last evening the Leader of Opposition I. Imkong said that the degree of corruption under the rule of DAN Government was so high, which may lead to an economic breakdown to the state.

He said corruption has also been detected in the Police department in some building construction and the Congress party was trying to get details to make it public.

NPCC president Hokheto Sumi said that they have already sent the copy of their memorandum to the UPA chief and now the party members will proceed to Delhi to pursue the Central leaders to take up action on the memorandum for imposing president rule.
