NE Monsoon active over Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 31 (UNI) Heavy rains lashed many parts of Kerala while Lakshadweep received very light rainfall, the local Met office said here.

The highest rainfall of 12 cm was recorded at Thalassery followed by Karipur Airport - seven cm.

Five cm of rain was received at Kozhikode, the MeT office said and added that Kannur and Mananthawadi got four cm each.

The office warned of isolated heavy rains over Kerala in the next 48 hrs.
