Bhopal, Oct 31 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee today urged the Election Commission to conduct repolling at 21 centres in Vidisha Lok Sabha constituency and also order an inquiry into alleged distribution of Rs 500 notes to voters in Malehra assembly constituency during yesterday's polling.

A delegation led by General Secretary and spokesman Manak Agrawal submitted, to the state's chief electoral officer, ''evidence'' of distribution of currency and urged the dismissal of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and state Health Minister Ajay Vishnoi besides declaring as null and void the candidature of Mr Kapoorchand Ghuwara (BJP).

A memorandum was also submitted to Governor Balram Jakhar.

Envelopes with pictures of Mr Chouhan and Mr Ghuwara were handed over as proof of irregularities.

The complaint alleged that BJP workers indulged in booth-capturing at Bamhori, Wazirganj, Bawai, Patni, Badikhurd, Badi Kala, Amrawad Kala, Gaji Khedi, Maljhir, Kutnagir, Samonia, Khandawar, Bhaisanya, Khapria Kala and Gugalwada.

''A sub-inspector assaulted Congress worker Nirmal Verma who was driven out of a polling centre,'' Mr Agrawal said while demanding that Mr Ghuwara be disallowed from contesting polls for six years.
