MP govt compensates ex-Army officer

Bhopal, Oct 31 (UNI) Major (retd) D C Sengar, who was severely handicapped after sustaining a gunshot wound in Kargil sector on September 2, 1999, has been provided Rs 7 lakh from the Kargil Assistance Fund by the Madhya Pradesh government.

An official source said today that Maj Sengar, who resides in Gwalior district, was handed over the cheque by the Collector.
