Bhopal, Oct 31 (UNI) An additional district and sessions court will tomorrow hear a revision plea with regard to charges levelled against underworld don Abu Salem's girlfriend and former Bollywood starlet Monica Bedi who stands accused in a fake passports case.

Earlier, the petition was submitted in the court of District and Sessions Judge Renu Sharma who transferred the case to Additional District and Sessions Judge Anurag Shrivastav. The plea was filed by Defence Counsel P C Bedi.

Recording of witnesses' statements will continue on November two in Chief Judicial Magistrate Dinesh Kumar Dangi's court.

On October 27, the court could not record the statements of three scheduled witnesses. Havildar R P Pande, Constable Sanjay Joshi and Head Clerk Bansilal were listed but Mr Dangi was informed that Havildar Pande had died in a road accident while another was ill.

Monica was then present in court amid tight security.

On October 26, the court issued a production warrant against Salem. Monica's counsel objected to another accused Siraj's application for being converted into a government witness. Mr Dangi ordered that Salem be brought here by December 15.

The don, extradited from Portugal, is incarcerated in Mumbai as he also stands accused of the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts.

During the October 26 deposition of witness Naseem, Mr Bedi submitted the revision petition against Monica's version not being heard prior to charges being framed. Another application urged that the defence be heard prior to converting Siraj into a government witness.
