Man hacks wife, daughter and in-laws to death

Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh, Oct 31 (UNI) A person killed his wife, daughter, father-in-law and mother-in-law near Kothapet village of Rayachoti mandal in this district in the wee hours of today.

Police said Satyanarayana Reddy, a Government teacher had family disputes with his wife and in-laws, since last two years. He came to his in-laws' house last night. Reddy quarreled with his wife Adilaxmi and her parents.

Reddy attacked his wife and in-laws with sickles and hacked them to death. His father in-law Raghunath Reddy, mother-in-law Laxmidevamma, wife Adilaxmi and his two year old daughter Dharanai died on the spot.

The accused escaped from the spot. Effots were on to nab Reddy, police added.
