LET ultra escapes after encounter
Jammu, Oct 31 (UNI) A 'divisional commander' of the Pakistan-based lashkar-e-toiba (let) and his aide managed to escape after an encounter in the mountainous district of Doda last night, official sources said here today.
LET militant Abu Tallah and his associate Abu Gori escaped unhurt after an hour-long encounter with security forces at Kahi Mohalla in Bhaderwah, the sources said.
After getting information about the presence of the LET commander at Kahi Mohalla, troops of 4 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) and Special Task Force (STF) of Jammu and asmir police cordoned off the area and started search operations, they said.
