Kerala Marathon on November 18

Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 31 (UNI) The fifth national level Kerala Marathon organised by the Kerala State Sports Council will be held here on November 18.

A 20-km long distance run for boys under 20, a 10-km run for girls above 18 and a 5-km run for boys and girls under 18 would also be organised in connection with the marathon, its convenor Shaji C Oommen said in a release here today.

Besides Rs one lakh and a gold medal as first prize for winners, a cash award for the first 10 top runners would also be given.

The first prize for winners in the boys under 20 and girls above 18 would be Rs 15,000 each.
