Hinduja TMT Q2 net profit at Rs 508 crore

Mumbai, Oct 31 (UNI) Hinduja TMT Ltd has posted a profit after tax of Rs 508.19 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2006 as compared to Rs 12.09 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2005.

Announcing the results, the company said its total income is Rs 775.80 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2006 whereas the same was at Rs 45.94 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2005.

The figures related to the current quarter ended September 30, 2006 are strictly not comparable to the corresponding previous quarter, since the Manila Branch commenced operations with effect from October 1, 2005.
