Fresh diktat from rebels to education department
Imphal, Oct 31 (UNI) Outlawed Kanglei Yawol Kanna Lup (KYKL) has warned "nepotism and corruption" would not be tolerated in the recruitment of teachers in the educational institutions in Manipur.
"The ministers and MLAs recommend the list rather than appointing the best candidates" the outfit has charged in a statement. Teachers were appointed on ad-hoc basis even if they did not fulfil the requirements, the KYKL alleged.
"How can teachers be appointed by interviewing for a minute it" alleging that the recruitment policy was faulty.
It has urged the government to come out with the results of the tests conducted recently and declare the marks for appointment of the teachers.
The KYKL has already warned to punish those involved allegedly in corrupt practices.
