Srinagar, Oct 31 (UNI) A fine all-round performance by captain Aditya Jain helped Delhi score a convincing ten-wicket victory over Jammu and Kashmir on the third day of the under-22 C K Naidu Trophy match being played at the Sher-i-Kashmir cricket stadium here today.

The visitors were 456 fore nine at stumps yesterday, but declared this morning without further batting, having taken a crucial first innings lead of 231 runs.

Despite a captain's knock of 91 runs by Obaid Ahmed, Jammu and Kashmir were bundled out for 247 in their second innings, setting a target of just 17 runs for the visitors.

For Delhi, the skipper took four wickets for 33 runs in just eight overs while William Victor took three, Abhishek Sharma two and Pravesh Chakwara claimed one.

The visitors scored the winning runs with all ten wickets intact.

Brief Scores: J&K first innings: 225 for all out (Sandeep Sharma 63, Obaid Ahmed 46, William Victor 5 for 28) Delhi first innings: 456 for 9 (Aditya Jain 105, Abhishek Sharma 63 and R Dewan 62, Asif Rasool 5 for 70 and A Misgir 3 for 110) J&K second innings: 247 all out (O Ahmed 91, Ravi Pandit 33, A Jain 4 for 33, W Victor 3 for 60).

Result: Delhi won by ten wickets.
