Congress doors are open for Therie, Rio
Kohima, Oct 31 (UNI) Leader of the Opposition in Nagaland Assembly and Congress leader I Imkong has said the doors for party deserters are always open.
He told a news conference here last evening that taking back of Kewekhape Therie, who joined the Nagaland Peoples Front (NPF) and became Finance Minister and later he was asked to resign from the ministership by the NPF party for his alleged anti-party activities.
When asked about re-inclusion of present Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, Mr Imkong disclosed that Rio was trying to comeback but many partymen objected to accept him as a leader.
He said the Congress was ready to take them back as ordinary members.
