Capitalised billing of R K SWAMY BBDO to exceed Rs 100 cr

Chennai, Oct 31 (UNI) City-based R K SWAMY BBDO, a leading advertising agency has made significant progress in all its branches and its capitalised billing is all set to exceed Rs 100 crore in seven months, during this fiscal.

A company release here said it had seen many business additions during this fiscal and had bagged advertising accounts for a number of leading companies in the first seven months of this fiscal itself.

P&G Gillette brands, Faber Castell, Shriram Transport Finance, Dell Information Services, Apollo Hospitals, Suguna Poultry Farm, Keane, Syndicate Bank, Webex, Edelweiss Securities, Singer, United Bank of Switzerland, National Insurance, Senco Gold, Ishtaa Gold Jewellery, Universal Diary Products and Paradeep Phosphates were some of the clients.

The Agency's Pharma Services Division has won assignments from Bayer, Cipla, Glenmark and GSK in the recent past, it said adding "the capitalised billings from these would exceed Rs 100 crore.

This growth has come on top of the good growth in 2005 as well" said Mr Srinivasan K Swamy, CEO, R K Swamy BBDO.

Anticipating further growth, the agency has invested in young talent. This year the agency has inducted into its system over 35 MBAs from various institutes and has also conducted extensive training and workshop sessions for its employees, he said.

"Talent acquisition and retention is critical for our growth and our emphasis on this is more than ever. In R K SWAMY BBDO alone, we are targeting to go over 400 people in the next few months," said Mr Swamy.
