Birds stolen from AP nature park
Visakhapatnam, Oct 31 (UNI) Two peacocks and an Emu bird have been stolen from their cage in Kambalakonda Nature Park here today.
According to the police here, there were three peacocks and a Emu bird in the cage. This morning the staff found the cage broken and the birds missing.
However, a peacock was found wandering inside the party. A complaint was lodged with the police.
Divisional Forest Officer P Vijayakar said some miscreants entered the park after removing a part of the iron fence on the side of social forest nursery which was adjacent to the park.
They broke open the lock of cage and tried to flee with the four birds. However, one of the peacocks escaped.
The park authorities had tightened security following the incident.
