Belgium's Clijsters eyes rings and trophies in 2007
BRUSSELS, Oct 31 (Reuters) World number six Kim Clijsters will have only one thing on her mind after Wimbledon next year: getting a ring on her finger.
The Belgian player, known as Killing Kim or Kim Kong, told fans on her Web site today that her schedule for next year is ''more or less'' fixed until the London tournament but after that she will be focusing on her forthcoming nuptials.
Clijsters, who has been out of action for two months after damaging her injury-prone left wrist, is set to make her return on home soil at the Gaz de France Stars in Hasselt tomorrow.
The 23-year-old is to marry American basketball player Brian Lynch, 27, who plays for her home town Bree in the east of Belgium and at 1.98 metres towers over the tall tennis player.
''Whatever is next I don't know as I am going to marry first!,'' the former world number one said in her online diary. ''Arguably, the second part of next season will be somewhat different than this year.'' Clijsters was formerly engaged to Australian tennis star Lleyton Hewitt but they broke up in 2004, just four months before their planned marriage.
