Army jawan arrested for manhandling civilian

Barrackpore, Oct 31 (UNI) Army jawan Vinod Dubey was arrested by West Bengal police for alleged manhandling a civilian at Abdalpur in North 24 Parganas last night, police said today.

The jawan, posted at Jammu and Kashmir, and resident of Dum Dum was holidaying and had gone Abdalpur for settlement of a land dispute. He, however, after an altercation beat the civilian, who was taken to a hospital and got admitted, police added.
