Air Deccan to connect Bellary/Goa from Nov 15

Bangalore, Oct 31 (UNI) Low cost carrier Air Deccan today announced flights to Hampi from Bangalore and Goa from November 15.

The company, however, would have the inaugural flight on November three, thus becoming the only airline connecting Hampi by air.

Air Deccan Managing Director G R Gopinath said in a statement here that the flights would operate from the Jindal Vijaynagar air field, which was quite close to both Hampi and Bellary, making it convenient for travellers.

He said Hampi attracted a lot of tourists, both domestic as well as international, and connecting Hampi would boost tourism in the region.
