30 days Privelege Leave for Defence Ind employees
Bangalore, Oct 31: The National Council of JCM has approved 30 days Privilege Leave for Defence Industrial Employees and thus removing parity existed with Non-Industrial workers.
All India Defence Employees Federation (AIDEF) Organising Secretary M K Ravindran Pillai, in a release here today, said that as per approval by the Council at a meeting on October 14 an employee can also accumulate Privilege Leave upto 300 days while in service and can surrender/avail in lieu cash at the time of Retirement as one of the Retirement Benefits.
He said that the AIDEF had been struggling for the last 53 years for removal of parity in leave enforced by the Colonial British Rulers prior to independence.
