Watchman of diamond unit murdered

Surat, 0ct 30 (UNI) Police today said a watchman of a diamond has been stabbed to death.

The victim has been identified as Mr Hari Prasad, and he was employed as a watchman with Maruti Diamonds in Varachcha area. His body was yesterday recovered from the Swaminarayan Society at the Bombay Market area, in the diamond city.

Further investigations are in progress, police added.
